OnData Secure Data Management Platform

OnData is honored to offer the OnData Secure Data Management Platform and related services through the Texas Department of Information Resources under DIR-CPO-6138.

This contract provides eligible DIR customers access to OnData’s cloud-based software-as-a-service platform and related professional services focused on data management, data security and data privacy.

Leveraging patented technology, the OnData platform helps organizations automate the discovery, cataloging, classification and protection of sensitive data. The platform is designed to support data-centric, zero-trust security by helping protect information from both external and internal threats.

The OnData Secure Data Management Platform includes three core products: SecureDB, SecureFile and SecureAI.

SecureDB

SecureDB helps organizations discover, catalog, classify and protect sensitive data in databases and semi-structured data files, including CSV, XML, JSON, Parquet and EDI files.

For public-sector organizations managing citizen records, student information, health data, payment details, case records or other regulated data, SecureDB helps protect sensitive fields at the data layer. It is designed to reduce exposure when data is queried, copied, exported, analyzed or moved across production, reporting, analytics, testing and staging environments.

SecureFile

SecureFile helps organizations discover, catalog, classify and protect sensitive documents and files, including Microsoft Office documents, PDFs, images and videos.

Sensitive files can remain protected as they are stored, shared and accessed by authorized users. SecureFile supports identity-based access controls and detailed audit logs, helping agencies and institutions improve visibility into who accessed protected files, when access occurred and what activity took place.

SecureAI

SecureAI helps organizations use generative AI and large language models with internal data while maintaining control over sensitive information.

As public-sector organizations explore AI for insights, automation and improved service delivery, SecureAI is designed to help keep data inside approved environments, prevent unauthorized access and reduce the risk of exposing confidential or regulated information through AI workflows.

Identity, Access Control and Auditability
